Sleepcare Relieflex®: Pressure Reduction innerspring or Foam Hospital Mattress. This innovative new mattress has been designed by Sleepcare's experienced  staff to conform to the requirements of the United States Health Service Bulletin No. 3 on pressure ulcers which states "place at-risk individuals on a pressure reducing mattress". In addition to meeting that standard, Sleepcare's Flextron foam Reliflex also provides a new level of patient sleep comfort and healthful back support. It consists of a heavy density 4" Flextron center core to which we laminate a convoluted (egg crate) pads top and bottom for a 5 1'2" thick mattress.

       To complete this unique construction, we cover the mattress in Nycron, a new fabric of supple nylon backed with neoprene and butyl rubber. This combination results in a ticking which is actually part of the mattress comfort system while at the same time resists fluid penetration.
